the M family at the sandys tidepools

a beautiful 'wintery' morning in hawaii- with brilliant blue skies and a gorgeous sunrise... i was lucky to spend it out at the tidepools with the M family- little M and her brother, L, are adorable!!!
we spent some time looking for shells- and a few photos with the dolphins- a very happy holidays to all of you. i am off to california for a week, catch up with you in jan 2010!

so we tried to finally get our own christmas photos done, and we met up with some friends down at the honolulu academy of arts, only to discover that it was CLOSED so they could get ready for their holiday party! aaaggh... of course my kids were making funny faces and grumpy the whole time... but we got some great shots of our friends! D, K & K- thanks so much for taking time out of your day to come help us. you guys are the best.

biking to waimea and back again

the weather was gorgeous yesterday- it made for great pictures up at makapuu lookout!

i've been lucky enough to follow these girls since they were very, very tiny. and now they are all grown up, tall, majestic, beautiful, and able to ham it up for the camera as well. a photographer's dream come true!

got a break in the weather on monday with a great little family shoot at kahala beach. thanks to little R and his family for some great photos. can't wait to meet his little sister!!

4 days till LOST comes out on DVD

just letting you know that season 5 comes out on DVD on Dec 8th!!
can't wait.... just finished watching season 4. have to catch up so we are ready for season 6 in feb.
